Ya’ll, we all know Austin is the place to get married, whether your a long time local, and transplant, or just popping in for a destination wedding weekend. There is no shortage of incredible venues and vendors to help you execute the wedding day of your dreams and, while that’s super great, it can also be a little overwhelming to sift through all the options to find what suits you. I’ve been lucky to work in the Austin wedding scene for what’s creeping up on 20 years, and I have some venue favorites.
Camino Real Ranch – Camino is where Central Texas meets the desert. It’s incredibly unique and unlike any other venue I’ve seen in Texas. From the quonset hut, to the greenhouse, to the pond, and then around to the bridal cottage and barn, you literally can’t find an ugly spot. It’s meticulously maintained and has endless options for where to take photos. It’s particularly beneficial if you’re getting married during an unpredictable season, and your rain plan won’t include any compromises or tent rentals. They also include tables, chairs, and a ton of other rentals that are included.
The Addison Grove – Luxury in the Texas Hill Country, ya’ll. The barn is so fitting for Texas, but it’s incredibly modern and elegant. And SO MUCH LIGHT. The rolling glass doors open up to make it an indoor/outdoor setting, which makes a super smooth transition from cocktail hour to reception. I also love the bridal suite which is big enough for the largest bridal parties, offers 2 restrooms and, again, so much beautiful available light.
Star Hill Ranch – This place is a vibe. A early 20th century hill country town recreation, I adore the open air dinner reception option the most.
Allan House – This 19th century historic house in the middle of Austin is the perfect spot for your garden party dreams.
Kimpton Van Zandt – Modern, convenient, and oozing luxury. I have so much fun getting creative in this place, and everywhere you look is something interesting and inspiring.
Springdale Station – Modern and romantic, I love Springdale Station because it’s also approachable and has that Austin flair.
